Cavalry flags

Here one can also see two cavarly flags dating from the mid-eighteenth century that still hang from the original spears. The flags belonged to the army of General Josip Kazimir Drašković. This is confirmed by a coat of arms in the cartouche with an inscription above. The flags are attached, with ornamental nails, to flagpoles resembling the tournament lances that end with a leaf-like tips with the engraved coat of arms of the Kingdom of Hungary and Croatia on one side and the coat of arms of Josip Kazimir Drašković on the other side.

In other rooms in the castle, one can still see two large-scale flags of an infantry regiment and another cavalry flag in the shape of a swallowtail.
