The schematic depiction, with typified faces with dark mustaches and reddish cheeks, has erased the personalities of individual soldiers. However, what may be obtained is a reliable insight into the makeup of Count Drašković's military unit. The soldiers are arranged in two infantry companies of shooters or fusiliers, and one company of grenadiers, soldiers armed with rifles and hand grenades. The cavalry is divided into two squadrons of dragoons and three squadrons of hussars, while in the central part there are 31 people including 9 riflemen, 10 musicians, 8 guards, a canteen keeper, a surgeon and two NCO's.
Particularly interesting is the small band, the first artistic depiction of a military band in Croatia. The band consists of eight wind instruments players: four oboists, two bassoonists and two hornists (horn players), and it is led by a drum major.
