The reading furniture in the small shows distinct neo-gothic forms. It consists of a large closet that was used to store books, a three-seat couch, chairs and armchairs. The preserved original plush wallpapers originating from the time of the castle's reconstruction are coloristically compatible with the rest of draperies and clearly evoke the salon atmosphere in the second half of the nineteenth century.
The furniture is made in historicist style by skilled craftsmen of that period and is of high quality. In the room there are also two nineteenth-century vases and a luxuriously gilded eighteenth-century mirror.
