Room of painted wallpapers

This room, together with the adjoining room, gives an impression of how a military cabinet looked like. The room is covered in linen wallpapers that provide a complete picture of Drašković's unit from the mid-eighteenth century.

A large wall painting consists of eight canvas panels painted with watercolors which shows a banderium of 821 people undergoing a review. The depiction is very faithful. It portrays in detail the soldier uniforms, equipment and banners as well as the arrangement of individual units and their parts. The painter was obviously a professional, one of the traveling masters of the period. He was probably under the expert supervision of the military command staff.
